“I didn’t get much of an opportunity there, so maybe there is a little point to prove. But it’s not about myself – the main thing is that the team’s got to go there, put in a performance and get the three points.” TOM HAYLETT reports.
“Before the sending off on Saturday, there was only one team in the game,” Lambert said. “It was as well as we’ve played since I’ve been here and if we carry on like that we won’t be too far away.” TOM HAYLETT reports ahead of tomorrow’s Carrow Road clash with Leyton Orient.
“They battled really well, especially as we were down to 10 men for most of it, and I felt they definitely deserved something out of the game,” said the City boss. “They never wilted and kept on going – which is really pleasing.” TOM HAYLETT reports.
“You’re a name, you’re a scalp and they’ll want to take us, not the other way around,” Paul Lambert said this morning. “But we’re not thinking ‘oh we’re only going to Gillingham where they only get 8,000’. TOM HAYLETT reports.

“When I went for the ball I think there was no way the goalie was going to get it,” said the striker. “He was out swinging and he’s got three yards to come out claim it and he’s come and missed the ball. It’s hit me and gone in.” TOM HAYLETT reports.
“Obviously I haven’t been playing the last few games but I played today and I’m just happy about that,” said a clearly delighted Hoolahan after the game. “I want to stay, I like it here.” TOM HAYLETT reports.

“He [Korey Smith] has done brilliantly. I’m asking an awful lot of him and if we had more experienced lads, he might not have got as many games. But since I’ve been here, he’s been terrific.” TOM HAYLETT reports.
