The more you ponder, the more you reflect the less sense Pearce’s decision appears to make. Give the man his chance, Stuart…

“As you say, me and Danny [Graham] got overlooked for this particular squad, but we’ve just got to keep doing what we’re doing; keep scoring the goals; keep turning the performances in and let people like yourselves write what you want to write.”

Fit-again Whitbread edges back into the manager’s thoughts as the Canaries gear up for that huge United test

February 24th, 2012 by Rick Waghorn | Comments Off

“They are still one of the best teams in Europe, let alone Britain, and still have a great chance to win the Premier League. They’re just a fantastic team – and have been for many a-year now. I’m under no illusions as to how hard it’s going to be…

Once again, the cup proves of little good cheer to the Canary faithful; Lambert, however, still offers more by way of good news…

For all their trials and tribulations over the last decade and for the numbers, the noise and the colour with which they take to the road this season, personally I think City’s supporters deserve a decent cup run; they have earned the right to grace Wembley Way sooner rather than later – even if it was only for a semi-final. Lambert readies kid keeper Steer for cup battle as Harry gives the green light for Naughton to be available

Frustrated Foxes boss Pearson heading to Carrow Road in truculent mood as Lambert weighs up his own options

February 16th, 2012 by Rick Waghorn | 1 Comment »

“We have to wait a bit longer for the next league game, which is a frustration, but we have a cup game which gives me an opportunity to look at one or two different options,” Pearson told the paper on the back of Tuesday night’s unwelcome reverse.

Hindsight has never looked quite so warm and welcoming tonight as Rangers head for administration two weeks after chasing Holt’s signature
