If Liverpool want to offer £10mill. plus player. would mean City accepting a player who hasn’t got Lewis experience for the same price as Pool want to pay for a 2 season experienced player. For me money wise it has to be £15mill at least plus player or £20mill outright. Can not see them paying the asking price for a understudy and bench warmer.
personally there are better destinations with more playing time than he will get, Get another season under the belt at City and see what is what at the end, of unless money is his drive.
Gone quiet on Aarrons & Cantwell . now Emi on the way out, doesn’t surprise me, he says he thinks he proved himself in the Premier, not quite so sure for me.. One goal, with assists, which don’t count much for me unless converted. His habit of trying the silly in stupid places and runs into far too many blind allies. And of course temperment is at best questionable.. A bit of a luxury at times..cash in
Any views on Leitner & Trybull leaving as to Drmic not sure anyone would raise a voice of discontent over that
Express says Lewis accepts limited playing time if he gets a move to LIVARPOOL so it is all about the money for him than actually playing football.
Vrancic is tell his local Bosnia paper that he could be back in Germany with a club promoted to the Bundesliga.
Drmic states he is in talks with the club on his future
Leinter’s agents has confirmed he is on his way out.
Trybull has said he enjoys living in Norwich but the club according to the EDP has told him find a new club.
Beundia says he is committed to city next season but Leeds acvording to newsnow have been told cities valuation has to be met over £20m.
Aaron’s, Godfrey, have clubs queuing up with £20+m offers and the Finnish manager is telling his leading scorer to get to a bigger league and club to continue his international career.
Clubs that didn’t get promoted are in a similar position with clubs trying to steal their best players so nothing during and after the pandemic has changed.
7 players in but no CB or CF maybe we need to sell Drmic or Klose to start the ball rolling, but back to Lewis City have said £20m LIVARPOOL only want to pay half that, now the papers are saying £10m and a 19 year old LB that’s can’t make it there, who Leeds have been quoted £10/15m for and LIVARPOOL have said they will only pay their own valuation for a player.
Who knows but with the 5th October the date for closing the international window plus 2 weeks more for domestic transfers city could start the season with a strong squad only for it to be decimated by the richer clubs at the last moment.
Cantwell to replace Grealish,
Grealish value =£80m
Cantwell value =£18.5m
Something wrong there
Liverpools offer is insulting and cannot be entertained. £10 million just about gets you a championship clogger with 6 months of good form behind him.
The very fact that the premier league champions want Lewis proves his pedigree is better than 10 million!
The national press and pundits are aghast that we are “standing in Lewis way” by daring to ask a realistic fee, but don’t bat an eyelid when QPR flatly turn down 12 million for a winger from palace. It’s for Norwich city to decide the value of their players in the market, not rags like the daily mirror or their ilk.
Having made a bold statement of intent with regard to the starting point for negotiations for any of our players. £10 million for Lewis would represent a humiliating climb down and would call into question the whole point of our “model”

‘Assists’ are, by definition, chances that he created and were converted to goals.
Hi Ben
Is it the silly season or stupid season.
