Norwich City have recently been linked with former Bournemouth & current Everton player Joshua King. So…

Being Norwegian, ask Alex Tettey for his opinion, (I’m sure DF & SW have).
Perhaps he’s never fully realised his potential, also prone to injury I believe but given our supply chain could suit him and us. He’s learnt his craft now a good age, 29 for a striker. He would also keep Teemu and Idah on their toes and probably good value.
If AT says yes then I’d go for Josh King.
I wonder if King and Tettey ever featured for Norway at the same time – it’s quite possible, even if only within the squad rather than together on the pitch.
Not sure what level of wages Josh King is on at Everton, but suspect he’d be at the top (very top) end of our scale. And I suspect there will be other, more established, PL teams in the frame too.
I’d look at Yakou Meite at Reading. Under rated, but excellent at converting chances and scores lots of headers. Fast and powerful, just what we are missing, and surely affordable.
In my opinion King would be a possible bad influence on the dressing room in respect that he would cone with a higher saltwater the rest and unproven in cities style of play.
There are or will be players on the market that will be better value for the money city pay them

Or maybe I’m just being a negative Nancy. 🙂
Was on 2.3 million at bournemouth so cant see him having taken a drop

I’d be surprised if we can afford King’s wages.
A 29 year old who will want a wheelbarrow full of cash each week and has scored 6 goals in his last 30 odd Premier League appearances……
I’m sure there are better options
No.
We’ve paid silly wages to players either on the way down or injury prone before. Think Naismith and Jarvis.
We need players on their way up.
