Time now to switch off, enjoy the summer and return refreshed, and with realism and determination

24th May 2016 By Chris Reeve 6 Comments

The bonus ball going into our Championship campaign is that things have changed at the top. The staff at Norwich City can now enjoy a club run on purely on yellow and green passion as opposed to fear. This should create a real feel good factor.

Five in the building so far and, on the face of it, the Canary stock has risen. Now to prove it on the green stuff

21st January 2016 By Chris Reeve 9 Comments

A massive bonus for the Canaries is that Naismith will be able to hit the ground not just running, but sprinting. His Premier League experience alone is definitely worth the fee we paid.

Saturday’s win has re-instilled the belief and added positivity for what lies ahead for Alex’s Canaries

10th November 2015 By Chris Reeve 5 Comments

As much as I like Russell Martin, if our current line-up pulls off another clean sheet against Chelsea, he’ll struggle to get back into this team. Ryan Bennett is getting better every week and I’m happy he’s getting a good run of games now.

The City striker dilemma – who should be leading the line as they head into battle with the Magpies?

17th October 2015 By Chris Reeve 8 Comments

Any Norwich striker this season will have an extremely difficult job, purely because of our formation, tactics and opposition we’re up against; most of the time playing one up top, which relies massively on our wingers getting those crosses in.

‘Fozzy’ tells our Reevo of his pride in pulling on the yellow jersey and why Alex will keep us in the PL

9th September 2015 By Chris Reeve 8 Comments

All the best teams are built around organisation and the right attitude to win football matches and we have that with Alex Neil. Look at the likes of QPR or, perhaps this season, Watford.

It’s not just new faces. Retaining the chemistry and winning mentality is equally crucial this pre-season

23rd July 2015 By Chris Reeve 11 Comments

I know Norwich City will defeat a ‘Goliath’ next season. Either Chelsea, Manchester City or Arsenal will feel the pain and, of course, afterwards City won’t be credited on Match of the Day for outperforming their opponents.

Beating those Tractor Boys, Wembley and the whiff of manure – a week in the life of a City supporter

20th May 2015 By Chris Reeve 6 Comments

Ipswich supporters are predicting our best players will be poached during the summer but I can’t see that happening on David McNally’s watch. Championship or Premier League, next season is only going to get better.

With the Rams up next at Carrow Road, the season defining moment for Norwich City has now arrived

9th March 2015 By Chris Reeve 2 Comments

Elliott Bennett has dubbed our run ‘The Yellow Train’ and it really feels like there are shades of Liverpool’s Premier League title bid last season. Positive vibes at Carrow Road are here to stay now, let’s just hope it ends in success.

Farewell, for now, to a club legend who simply took on a job he was offered and just came up short

6th January 2015 By Chris Reeve 9 Comments

We signed the right players in the summer transfer window. We’ve got a strong spine to our team, strength in midfield, pace and skill in Nathan Redmond and, on paper, the best front two in the league in Gary Hooper and Cameron Jerome.

Too much negativity? We need that good Phelan back at Carrow Road and we need it now

27th November 2014 By Chris Reeve 9 Comments

At the Brighton game, after Russell Martin’s goal, I heard the following in the Upper Barclay: “How lucky was that, bet he can’t believe it went in either…” This attitude needs to change but sums up where we are at as a football club right now.

Let’s get behind Neil. He was offered a job, he took it, and now he really needs our support

12th November 2014 By Chris Reeve 26 Comments

I am in favour of refunding those devoted fans who travelled to Middlesborough. What a shambolic display – no one can come out and hide behind any excuses. It needs to happen, especially if the club want our continued support away from home
